Broadcast Work
In this video collection, I showcase various clips and shows from my time at WOWK 13 News in Charleston, WV. I direct 9+ hours of live tv broadcast a week and edit the content for these shows when needed. I also direct and edit special programming, including state championship previews, live events and full election night coverage.

The fast paced environment of news has taught me to work quickly and effectively. News has showed me the true meaning of a deadline and what it means to work together.

WOWK: 2024
ELECTION SHOW
This was WOWK's 2024 Election coverage show. I directed this show and helped prepare the graphics. This was a full station production.

WOWK: PRO ROAD 6P NEWSCAST
This show's main focus was on the Pro Road National Championship event in Charleston, WV in spring 2024. I directed this show while cueing talent in the field to create a seamless transition between scenes. This was a station wide effort.

WV BOYS BASKETBALL STATE TOURNAMENT SPECIAL 2025
This was a special showcasing the teams that made it to the WV Boys Basketball State Tournament. I directed and edited the final deliverable that was sent to WOWK's regional hub. WOWK sports anchor, Ryan Wilson produced the special.

This was a special showcasing the teams that made it to the WV Girls Basketball State Tournament. I directed and edited the final deliverable that was sent to WOWK's regional hub. WOWK sports anchor, Ryan Wilson produced the special.

HISPANIC HERITAGE SPECIAL
This was a special WOWK 13 News created in 2024 focusing on Hispanic heritage around the Charleston, WV area. I directed and edited the final deliverable.

This was the A block from WOWK 13 News' 11pm show covering Hurricane Milton. I directed, planned the flow of the block and edited the video for this show.

This interview was between WOWK 13 News' political reporter Mark Curtis and political analyst Tom Susman. This segment was from the 11PM Election show during the 2024 presidential cycle. This interview was live-punched and directed by me.
